This guy has been skulking around my complex for a few months. He finally came up to me tonight, talking and wanting attention. Grabbed him when I had the chance. It's been so cold the last few weeks, this poor dirty little dude.

Now he's warm and obviously sooooo happy to be inside. Quarantined for now away from my other cat (who is blissfully unaware) in my spare bathroom, as he's not fixed and I wouldn't risk anyone's wellbeing. He's got good food, fresh water, and a comfy bed. He knew immediately what to do with he got that blanky: biscuit time! Then he curled up and went to sleep purring his heart out

tattoosbyalisha OP It's been so cold the last couple weeks and snowing here and there, I could never leave him out there if I could help it! He came to our back door last weekend and we have been on high alert for him since, and left food out for him but he never came back (I think my dog scared him too bad). I can't even tell you how excited I was when he started responding to me following him around! When he started talking and following me I was elated and my heart was racing!

RoadRunner1961 That's how my cousin and her husband got their first cat - found him in their trash can. And hence, his name became TrashCat.

tattoosbyalisha OP He really is! And he's so nice! He's sweet and way more interested in attention than being skittish. He truly seeks so happy to be inside

ejd0626 He used the cell to find a home. He'll never use it again.

tattoosbyalisha OP he got me tagged, too, I saw him at the dumpster and that was my only task for 30 minutes. I knew I was golden when he started following me!

leenz7 His face in that second photo②: it says "i'm finally home, I made it”

tattoosbyalisha OP The way he sighs when he lays down and closes his eyes says EXACTLY that! He's warm and safe and he knows it! Baby boy is in heaven right now

MomlsFunnyAF3 We have a dumpster kitty. My husband found her a few years ago under a dumpster while he was at work. He brought her home and everyone fell in love with her instantly. She's my baby and I love her. Her name is Miss Purr bc she purrs a lot and it's loud considering she's a petite kitty. She's probably at least 10 now.

tattoosbyalisha OP Awwwwww!!! The universe was doing its thing that day!! That's such a lovely story! My kid and my boyfriend are already in love with this baby boy. Once he's taken care of and after a quarantine/proper slow intro, we can see how my other cat works out. If it's a bust, I already have a home lined up with my brother, who has been wanting a cat since his best boy Benji passed away. But this guy will be loved and cared for and spoiled by us with all of our fingers crossed!
